I recently transitioned into full stack development after 18 years as a zookeeper followed by time as an embryologist and house manager. In August 2023, I completed both a front end and back end bootcamp with College of Southern Nevada and Promineo Tech. I love science, books, animals, hockey, the Great Lakes and rain.

Fireball
Built using React, MaterialUI, TailwindCSS, wireframed on Figma and tested with React-testing-library, this application pulls data from NASA's open data meteorite landing API and allows users to view and interact with meteorite landing data. Built as a team of 4 developers as part of a Chingu Voyage. Personal contributions include the Team component, modal housing data visualization components, GitHub README file and meteorite graphic made using Canva.
Keeper Notes
Full stack application that was built using Java, Spring and SpringBoot on the back end and React, React-Router and React-Bootstrap on the front end. This API and front end client provides full CRUD operations and allows a user to register a keeper, accession an animal, assign care of the animal and keep track of notes pertaining to that animal.
